Clean Bill of Health!

Hello everyone. I wanted to share with you that I have been pronounced to have a clean bill of health!

I was so embarrassed that my previous illness was of such a concern that my new Mommie and Daddy had to take me to the veterinarian to make sure that I was well and that there was not a chance that I might infect little Rudy or Miss Mollee. But I heard new Mommie and Daddy saying it was time for little Rudy and Miss Mollee to go there anyway so that made me feel somewhat better.

The drive in the car was very pleasant. I sat in the front seat and enjoyed the view. I look forward to my veterinarian visits because all the veterinarians I have known have done their best to help me and make me feel better when I was so sick. It was a surprise to see little Rudy and Miss Mollee put up such a fuss when we got there. I must say, I was somewhat taken aback by their lack of cooperation. But then it also gave me a chance to see my new Mommie in her serious role and she made it clear who was pack leader. Although it was humorous to see little Rudy reduced to flipping onto his back and peeing into the air when serious Mommie ordered him to sit and stay, I know it must have been a blow to his pride. I tried to avert my eyes to offer him some dignity. But there was little hope of that for him on this trip.

Miss Mollee scared us all by running into the street! Sometimes I think she just doesn't have any common sense. But again, I saw new Mommie in her serious role and she gathered up all of us and finally got everyone into the office.

We all sat together in a small room and I watched the veterinarian and her helper check out little Rudy. Poor thing, he endured one blow to his dignity after another when the veterinarian checked him for worms. Sadly, that is a necessity and I, for one, detest it but understand why it has to be done. Then it was Miss Mollee's turn and to tell you the truth, I was glad they didn't perform the worm check on her because I just don't think her little sensibilities could withstand it.

After little Rudy and Miss Mollee were finished, it was my turn. I tried to be polite and a good girl as the veterinarian checked me. And I was pleased to hear her pronounce me very healthy. Actually, I was pleased that all three of us were pronounced healthy. And I was so appreciative of the care and concern new Mommie and Daddy showed in their attention to us all. I am so pleased to be here and am trying hard to be part of this new pack.

Have a good evening!
