Hello Everyone! I must say that I have really enjoyed living in and learning about my new home. New Mommy and Daddy are so nice and their son is so sweet and caring. They take good care of me. They all make sure to include me in all the activities and I can tell that they are still encouraging little Mollee and Rudy to accept me.
A few weeks ago Mommy and Daddy went to the store and bought some seed packets. Mommy was talking to Daddy about planting a garden. The next week, Daddy and the little boy worked so hard in the back yard to build a raised bed for Mommy to use as a garden. I watched them with interest and just couldn't help myself when I jumped int the garden and pranced around in the dirt. Mommy told me not to do that and I will try very hard in the future to resist the lure of all that wonderfully smelling dirt.
The next weekend Mommy, Daddy, and the little boy took a trip to the beach. I would love to see the beach one day. But since they were only going to be gone for a day, they left us at home
this time. Poor Rudy was beside himself with worry. He was afraid they would never come back and he refused to let poor little Mollee eat anything. He didn't ant anyone to eat the food they left for us (3 bowls of food and 4 bowls of water) in case Mommy and Daddy didn't come back the next day. I thought he was being silly, but it wasn't my place to give him instructions. I, however, ate when I was hungry. But I never took more than my share.

Evidently there is a female Great Dane that lives in the yard next door and our yards are separated by a fence. I don't think little Mollee understands that it's a dog ... not a horse ... that is barking back at her. It is quite comical to watch her running back and forth and yipping at "the fence".
I have enjoyed learning my way around the back yard and I look forward to seeing what Mommy can grow in her garden. As it is warming up outside, I am sure she will be planting something soon. Maybe she will grow some of those chewy sticks we all love so much.
Have a nice evening!
